Cuboid Syndrome

A subtle but painful subluxation of a midfoot bone.

Cuboid syndrome occurs when the cuboid bone — located on the outer midfoot — partially dislocates (subluxes). Often overlooked and misdiagnosed, it causes lateral foot pain that is frequently linked to ankle sprains or overuse.
