Foot and ankle specialists at UH have extensive training specifically in foot and ankle care. This expertise allows our team to treat everything from the most basic sprain to the most complex reconstructive surgery, tendon transfers or complex fusions of the ankle joint.

Innovative treatment options include minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery for both foot and ankle issues. Through very small incisions, our team can better assess damage by viewing the area of concern through the arthroscope, a thin fiber-optic camera. At the same time as the assessment, we can treat cartilage defects or tendon repairs. This minimally invasive approach reduces pain and improves recovery time.
